Haller Lake Neighborhood Clean-Up May 2022

On Saturday morning May, 21st about 25 community members descended upon the Haller Lake neighborhood for two hours and picked up trash.  The event was in participation of the One Seattle Day of Service. Attendees pickup up an impressive amount of trash along N 125th St, N 130th St, Stone Ave N and various other streets – see pictures of the bounty below.  We could not have asked for better weather!

We were thankful that members of the Georgia University Alumni Association participated and bulldogs canvased the neighborhood picking up trash!

In this first ever One Seattle Day of Service, the City provided supplies and connected community members to projects.  The City also picked up all the trash at the end of the event. We really hope this becomes a frequent city event to bring beautification city wide.  https://www.seattle.gov/mayor/one-seattle-initiatives/day-of-service

Thank you to all who participated!
